On 20 October, 23 October and 24 October, the Olympic Legacy Forum – including on-site visits – will take place in Seoul and PyeongChang. On 20-22 October, the smartcities & sport summit will take place in Seoul. The Union thanks the City of Seoul and the City of PyeongChang, as well as  the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation (KSPO) and the PyeongChang 2018 & Gangwon 2024 Legacy Foundation, for their warm welcome and exciting programme.

The smartcities & sport summit is thrilled to unveil the highlights of the programme for the upcoming smartcities & sport summit in the high-tech capital of the Republic of Korea, Seoul. This edition will revolve and resonate around the theme technology & sport: the e-volution.

Practical Information

This year, our traditional additional trip is fully included in the Olympic Legacy Forum programme.

For Active Members, the Union is pleased to cover the registration fees for the 5 days including conferences, on-site visits, social events, transfer to PyeongChang and return as well as the accommodation costs from 19 to 22 october in Seoul, and from 22 to 25 October in Pyeongchang for up to two representatives per Member City. International travel are at the participant’s expense. 

For Affiliate Members, the Union is pleased to cover the registration fees for the 5 days including conferences, on-site visits, social events, as well as transfer to PyeongChang and return – to one representative of each Olympic legacy stakeholder affiliated to the Union.  International travel and accommodation are at the participant’s expense.

Please note that registration will close on 22 September, so we kindly ask that you register before this date to guarantee your accommodation.
