The World Union of Olympic Cities’ Members address their sympathy and solidarity to the people of  Nagano and wish the City prompt recovery after the severe damages caused by the typhoon Hagibis. The Union warmly thanks the authorities of Nagano for their great collaboration and hopes there will be other opportunities to come and visit Nagano in the future. 

The Olympic City of Sapporo invites you to an alternative additional trip on the Island of Hokkaido, in the footprints of the 1972 Winter Olympic Games. Sapporo has a sound and lively Olympic legacy that Members will be happy to discover. The Union thanks the City of Sapporo for its responsiveness and its spirit of solidarity.
