Brisbane is one of Australia’s fastest-growing cities and continues to capture global attention as one of the best places in the world to visit – particularly as Host City of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

To make the most of this incredible opportunity, Brisbane City Council is embarking on a city-wide legacy engagement program called Brisbane: Making our Mark. The programme has engaged employees, businesses and peak bodies to identify initiatives that could be delivered from being a Host City and benefit the region for generations to come. A campaign seeking feedback from residents will begin later this year. The 5 legacy pillars driving this engagement that will then inform the City of Brisbane Legacy Strategy are: Culture, Tourism and Lifestyle; Enterprise and Innovation; Connectivity and Mobility; Active, Healthy and Inclusive; Environment and Nature. This is all part of Council’s plan to deliver a better Brisbane for generations to come. To read about Brisbane 2032 Summer Olympic & Paralympic Games, click here!
