Lausanne 2020 YOG aimed to promote youth and developing talent and set its sights on actively involving them in the organisation of the Games.

The youth empowerment programme was conceived as a key element of commitment, which is necessary to ensure popular success. The Lausanne 2020 YOG were designed for the youth, by the youth and with the youth. The ambition was to value and empower youth by enabling them to become ambassadors of the positive values of sport, to acquire new talents and to achieve fulfillments by becoming tomorrow’s leaders.
