First opened in 2000, the Sapporo Olympic Museum is an educational institution dedicated to the history of local winter sports and more specifically to the legacy of the 1972 Winter Olympic Games.

The Museum allows visitors to see, touch and feel the City’s winter sports heritage for themselves. Visitors can enjoy the Competition information Area, the Exhibit Area and the Experience Area where simulators replicate the real life environment of various winter sports.
