Eight years after hosting its Olympic and Paralympic Games, the City of Rio de Janeiro has published a book to celebrate the transformative power of the Games and to extol the Olympic values.

This official document details the entirety of the preparation that began in 2009, the execution, and the legacy created by the event, which continues to produce benefits. These are transformations that have benefited not only the Brazilian people but also the Olympic community. The book is now available in the International Olympic Committee’s library.
